Aerial Applicator Generals Practice Test

Using aerial imagery in agriculture primarily serves the purpose of assessing crop health and identifying areas that require treatment. This technology enables operators to obtain a comprehensive view of the entire field, allowing for detailed analysis of crop conditions. By capturing high-resolution images from above, aerial imagery can reveal variations in plant health that may not be visible from the ground. This information is crucial for making informed decisions about where to apply fertilizers, pesticides, or additional water.

The use of aerial imagery helps in precision agriculture, facilitating targeted treatment that can improve crop yield and sustainability. By focusing on specific areas that need attention, aerial imagery contributes to resource-efficient farming practices, ultimately benefiting both the environment and the farmer's bottom line.
